Stan Kimbell is the Senior Vice President of Environmental and Real Estate, Member of the Board of Managers, and Limited Partner of Burk Royalty Co. Ltd. Stan is responsible for all environmental remediation of property owned by the Company and all real estate transactions. In addition Stan oversees the third party operations of a wind farm on Company property and game and livestock management. Stan has been active in the Company for 30 years, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Petroleum land management and a graduate of the Ranch Management School at TCU. Stan received The Wildlife Manager of the year in 2004 from the state of Oklahoma and the National Private Lands Fish and Wildlife Stewardship award in 2005.
Stan is very active in many philanthropic areas of the community. He is currently a board member of Christ Academy, a private Christian school in Wichita Falls. He also helps lead a weekly “Bible Fun Fellowship” service solely for handicapped citizens of Wichita Falls. Stan was awarded the “Americanism” award from the Boy Scouts of America by Governor Abbott in 2015.
