Mary Martha is responsible for reviewing and negotiating oil and gas leases and associated legal instruments, lease management, curative research initiatives and completing in-house due diligence. She has been employed by Burk Royalty Co., Ltd. for 4 years. She is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), North Texas Association of Professional Landmen (NTAPL), the Independent Producers Association of America (IPAA) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers.

Mary Martha attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Education with an Interdisciplinary Major in English. She then went on to study at the University of Oklahoma where she received a Master of Legal Studies in Oil, Gas and Energy Law. Mary Martha attends Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is married to her husband, Matt, and they have one daughter, Ruthie
