Mike Elyea, CPA, Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer and a member of the Board of Managers. Mike oversees the accounting, finance, administration, and land departments and has been employed by the Company for 39 years. Prior employment included Coopers & Lybrand a “Big Eight” CPA firm specializing in the refining, gasoline marketing, and banking industries and a small integrated oil and gas independent.

Mike is past president of the North Texas Oil and Gas Association, currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Producers Association of America(IPAA), current chairman of the Liaison committee, served on the Oilfield Cleanup Fund oversight committee of the Texas Railroad Commission for over 10 years, member of the Fort Worth Wildcatters, past chairman of the community board of Wells Fargo Bank of Wichita Falls, past member of the Board of Directors of United Regional Hospital and past chairman of the Finance committee, member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and American Institute of Public Accountants.

Mike graduated from Kansas State College of Pittsburg with a BSBA and a major in accounting, has been married to Jeri for 47 years, has 3 children, and 8 grandchildren. Mike and Jeri are members of Grace Church.
